We’re so happy to share that we’re running three free full-day audio workshops this summer: Introduction to Audio Making with Blunt Youth Radio. Join us on either July 20th or August 6th for High Schoolers ages 14 —18 or on July 27th for Middle Schoolers.
These free workshops are for young people who are excited to learn how to make audio stories about topics that they care about. You don’t need any previous experience or special equipment!
OVER THIS ONE-DAY WORKSHOP YOU WILL:
- Use professional audio recording equipment
- Conduct audio interviews
- Edit your interviews into a polished audio story
WORKSHOP DETAILS:
- Work in pairs to create an original audio story
- Max. workshop size 12 participants
- Group and individualized instruction
- Full-day workshop 10am to 4:30pm at the Portland Public Teen Library
- Option to join Blunt Youth Radio as an ongoing member
- Lunch and snacks provided
- Masks required
